Preparation — inspect and clean
1. Unpack the silicone cover and check for manufacturing residue or tears. If damaged, do not use.

2. Power off the clicker (if applicable) and remove any batteries or external attachments according to the clicker manufacturer’s instructions before handling if you prefer extra caution.

3. Using the soft cloth or compressed air, remove dust and debris from the clicker surfaces, especially around buttons, ports and lenses (if present). A clean surface ensures a close fit and full button function.

Fitting the cover
4. Orient the cover so the button and port cutouts align with the corresponding features on the clicker. Confirm which side is the front (button side) and which is the back.

5. Starting at one end (commonly the top or bottom), gently stretch the cover over the clicker edge. Silicone is flexible but work slowly to avoid tearing. Pull the opposite end over last to seat the cover fully.

6. Once fitted, press along the edges and around each button and port to ensure the cover sits flush and the cutouts line up. Confirm that all buttons depress freely and that ports remain accessible.

Final checks
7. Test every button and any paired functions (e.g. IR or Bluetooth transmission) while the cover is fitted to confirm normal operation. If any buttons feel blocked or unresponsive, remove the cover and refit, inspecting for misalignment or debris.

8. If the cover interferes with an external cradle, docking station or charging connector, remove and test the fit with those accessories present; reposition or remove the cover only if necessary for operation.

Care and maintenance
9. Clean the cover periodically by removing it from the clicker and wiping with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse and dry fully before refitting. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

10. Avoid exposing the silicone cover to prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat or sharp objects which can cause deformation or tears. Replace the cover if it becomes stretched, torn or discoloured.

Safety notes
- This product is a non-electrical protective cover. It does not modify the clicker’s electronic behaviour or add connectivity.
- Do not attempt to modify the cover to force additional ports or openings; altering it may reduce protection or damage the clicker.
- Keep out of reach of small children and pets who may chew or swallow small parts.
